Parking Attendant Burned in Monas Passed Away

After getting intensive treatment for several weeks in Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), Central Jakarta, Tengku Yusri (47), parking attendant in Monas who was burned by TNI AD army member Pratu Heri Ardiansyah on June 24, 2014, around 10.45 PM, passed away this morning at 5.30 AM, Monday (7/14).

His condition decreased after treated for several weeks,” told General Secretary for Aceh-Jakarta Post Graduate Students Association Alliance (IMPAS), Muntasir.

For that, Muntasir urges the police to punish the perpetrator severely.

“We want the perpetrator to be punished as hard as possible,” he asserted.

At this time, Yusri’s body is still in RSCM. After the hospital’s administration papers done, Yusri will be brought home to Aceh.

“In accordance to the family’s agreement, Yusri will be buried in Aceh,” said Muntasir.

As for Pratu Heri Ardiansyah, he burned Yusri because he was upset the victim did not give him enough money from working as parking attendant. Because of his action, Ardiansyah has been officially dismissed from the army through a ceremony held on the court of TNI AD Military Police Center on Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur No. 17, Central Jakarta, Monday (7/7) morning.
